Classes are suitable from absolutely anyone, from beginner to confident cook. We hold the classes in pop-up venues in and around Oxford, and each class in 2.5-3 hours long. All ingredients and equipment are provided – just bring yourself, and come along to enjoy cooking and eating together.

The Swedish smorgasbord is a thing of great joy, with its marvellous array of hot and cold dishes, from herrings and any number of fish dishes, through to tender meatballs (kottbullar) or pyttipanna, potato and meat hash. Rodbetssalladand other sweet sharp sharp salads, cheeses and fresh rye bread and crispbreads fill the gaps.
Chef Claire Andersson married into a Swedish family, learning to cook classic smorgasbord dishes from her mother-in-law and local friends. In this class, she’ll teach us how to make the very best gravadlax, alongside an alluring Scandi selection of other hot and cold dishes.
